Contractor in WilsonvillePlanned neighborhoods on the Willamette

Wilsonville is one of the farther towns we serve, and one of the most orderly: planned neighborhoods, active HOAs and well-kept homes. We help keep them that way with siding, windows, paint, decks and careful repairs.

Wilsonville sits about thirty miles from our Gresham shop, down I-205 to where it meets I-5 at the southern edge of the metro. Because of that distance, we plan Wilsonville projects in solid blocks rather than quick drop-ins. Most of our work here is exterior: siding, windows, painting, decks and fences. Interior items like drywall, trim and small handyman fixes can be folded into the same visit, so one trip covers the whole list.

The housing is younger than in much of the metro. Charbonneau, south of the Willamette River, is a golf community that dates to the early 1970s and has its own architectural rules. Villebois, built from the 2000s on the old Dammasch hospital grounds, has closely spaced homes with porches and painted trim. Frog Pond is the newest area on the east side of town. Older streets near Old Town mix in 1970s and 1980s homes that are ready for new windows and siding.

The weather is Willamette Valley weather: long wet winters, a dry summer and the occasional ice storm. Sun and rain wear down paint, stain and caulk on a steady schedule. Close-set homes in Villebois call for careful work around the neighbors' walls, fences and yards, and we treat that seriously. We keep the site tidy, park considerately and keep the noise to normal working hours. Before we start, we'll talk through access, parking and where materials will sit, so the street stays clear.

Valley sun and rain

Wilsonville gets the valley's long wet season and warm, dry summers. South- and west-facing siding sees the most fading and cracking, while north walls stay damp and can grow mildew. A yearly look at the caulk around windows and trim, plus a fresh coat of paint before the old one fails, keeps water out of the walls.

HOA and architectural review

Charbonneau, Villebois and many other Wilsonville neighborhoods have an HOA or architectural review for exterior changes. Colors, fence styles, deck materials and even window grids may need sign-off. Get approval before work starts. We can provide samples and product details for the application and wait for the go-ahead before scheduling.

Planning around the drive

Wilsonville is one of our longer drives, so we schedule projects here in advance and keep the crew on site for full days. That works well for siding, window, paint and deck jobs. We'll tell you up front if a permit is needed from the city, and we'll fold that time into the plan.

Do you serve Wilsonville, or is it too far?

We serve Wilsonville. At about thirty miles from our shop, it is one of the farther towns on our list, so we book projects here ahead of time and work full days on site. For a single small repair, we'll be honest about whether it makes sense to bundle it with other items.

Can you work within Charbonneau or Villebois HOA rules?

Yes. We're used to architectural review. We'll give you the colors, product sheets and samples you need for your application and wait until it is approved. On site, we keep work hours, parking and cleanup respectful of the neighbors, which matters a lot on close-set streets.

What exterior work do Wilsonville homes need most?

Usually repainting, caulk and trim repair, deck refinishing and window replacement on older homes. Some 1970s and 1980s houses are ready for new siding too. We'll walk the house with you, point out what needs attention now and what can wait, and put it all in a clear written bid.
